This workshop will focus on addressing the mobile communications operator issues and needs, and discussing of emerging regulatory issues in that respect in Pacific Islands. Main topic includes Roaming and Peering solutions, Fraud and Revenue Assusrance, WimMAX & LTE Technology comparisons and practical steps, Rural and remote mobile applications. There will also be a session on regulatory issues, needs and development In addition, special Green Power Mobile sessions are included led by GSMA, covering fundamentals and practical steps for Pacific Islands in harneshing green power and addressing remote sites power and environmental obligations, with case studies and industry turnkey solutions The workshop involving presentations and close group discussions aims to help countries with their issues and needs, and provide opportunity to network with peers in the context of topics and cooperation, and with solution providers, partners and prospects. Call for Papers are now being made and interested parties are to contact the PITA MAnager for details and proposals.
