PacNOG 6 Educational workshop and training is a continuation of capacity development program for the IP-ISP network operators from the Pacific Islands Topics Agenda developed in concjuntion with the countries and trainers and will constitute an advanced program running in the second week, as follows: For week one (16-21 Nov) there will be two tracks with the following topics: Track 1 Network Systems Network Management Tools Basic Security Internet Services Fundamentals (2 days) Track 2 Internet Resource Management Essentials Network Routing (2 days) VOIP workshop Setting up and implementing Asterisks (2 days) For Week two (23-26 Nov), there will be two tracks also with the following topics Track 1 Advanced Routing (3 days) IXP workshop (1 day) Track 2 Network Security and Forensics (3 days) see Program attached in this website Networking and exchange for development Conference sessions to allow exchange and interactive discussions on case study, issues, challenges and opportunities will precede the classroom-laboratory hands-on type training conducted in 2 concurrent tracks. Advanced sessions A plan to extend training to the 2nd week on to cover advanced routing, security forensics and IXP workshop is now confirmed Public & Stakeholder sessions A half/day break on 24 Nov during week 2 will be taken to conduct a Cyber crime and security Stakeholders seminar.
