Following last year's AGM, the PITA 21st AGM held on 03-07 April this year, was again a host to a number of Ministers and their respective Senior Officials joining the telecommunication industry players from the Pacific and other regions.
Here are some comments while exchanging and discussing ICT developments and plans at the Breakout Meeting organised for the Ministers attending the PITA 21st AGM Cook Islands 03-07 April 2017;
“Meeting as ministers is a great opportunity for us in the Pacific to get together and talk about our connectivity.“ICT is the way forward to overcome the challenges of remoteness and isolation. “As a small Pacific island territory we trust in the spirit of working with our Pacific Islands neighbours for a better digital society in the Pacific.”
