With the registration list hitting 197 delegates to the PITA 19th AGM and Tradeshow, the host of the event, Tonga Communication Corporation (TCC) confirms that all are in order for yet another memorable PITA AGM & Tradeshow. "We're very proud to host the next PITA AGM. PITA has been a big help and credible source through its activities where the members and small island countries in the Pacific are able to come together, exchange information and learn from one another", said its Acting CEO Mr Rizv Jurangpathy in an update teleconference with the PITA Office.
With 85 different organisations from 30 different countries in the current registrations, it is expected that the PITA 19th AGM & Tradeshow will be again of great value to everyone who will be there and make the most of the opportunity.
Having hosted smaller workshops and activities, it will be its first for TCC to host the PITA premium event.
[PITA adds that from such gathering, not only does it attract other key international partners, experts and industry players to join, but also a convening where common goals and common issues are identified, and together with the significant boost in scale, the members and small island countries can work together for the common good and benefit, whilst also finding new solutions, innovations and plans to enhance services in their own individual countries.
PITA Members are telecommunication entities from 22 Pacific Islands states & territories that include also regulatory and government bodies, and industry players from the developed world from the Asia Pacific region and as well as Europe, Middle East and US.
