APNIC trainers has just completed a week-long IPv6 network training for Kiribati.
Hosted by Telecom services Kiribati and organised jointly with PITA, the training is part of the ongoing series of IP training road show to the Pacific Islands, having being held already in Fiji, Solomon Is, Samoa, French Polynesia, PNG, Vanuatu and Tuvalu followed by this recent one in Kiribati.
The aim of the training is to provide training to the islands on fundamental skills and working knowledge on IP networks and IPv6, a training course which many of the small island economies may find challenging to send delegates overseas for such (basic and fundamentals), thus the island road show.
PITA and APNIC will continue to organise and hold this training road show to countries not yet covered.
