Strengthening Pacific Telecom Capability

PITA will host two major back‑to‑back events in Nadi this October, bringing together finance leaders, engineers, managers, regulators, government officials, and CEOs from across the Pacific. These programs are designed to build capability, strengthen collaboration, and support long‑term sector development for members and Pacific Telecommunications industry players.

Telecoms Finance Training & CFO Conference

The October program begins with a four‑day Telecoms Finance Training designed for finance managers and executives seeking to deepen their understanding of telecom‑specific financial modelling, investment evaluation, revenue assurance, and fraud management.

The training leads directly into the PITA CFO Conference, an annual forum for Pacific telecom finance leaders. The conference will explore emerging financial challenges, evolving digital business models, and the strategic role of CFOs in guiding operators through market shifts, infrastructure investment, and regional connectivity priorities.

PITA Industry Week (PIW 26)

05 – 09 October 2026 Tanoa International Hotel, Nadi, Fiji 🔗 https://events.pita.org.fj/PITAIndustryWeek#/?lang=en

Held immediately after the CFO Conference, PITA Industry Week brings together CEOs, regulators, government officials, engineers, managers, and technical specialists for a comprehensive program focused on strengthening Pacific telecom ecosystems.

PIW 26 features three dedicated streams:

  • Telecoms Acumen Training — strengthening commercial and strategic capability for engineers and managers, within the operational context of Pacific telecom environments.
  • Regulatory Capacity & Development — for regulatory and policy capacity and development.
  • CEO & Industry Strategy Forum — a senior‑level forum for CEOs to discuss industry direction, regional priorities, and the strategic issues shaping the future of Pacific telecoms.

A Unified Platform for Pacific Telecom Growth

With both events hosted in Nadi and scheduled consecutively, participants can easily attend the full program. The combined Finance Training, CFO Conference, and Industry Week provide a unique opportunity for members and industry players to strengthen leadership, share experiences, and collaborate on solutions for the region’s evolving connectivity needs.
