In keeping with the objectives of PacNOG to raise the critical mass of skilled Internet network engineers in the Pacific, PacNOG 2026 will continue to provide both practical working knowledge and advanced-level training to support secure, resilient, and optimised Internet networking across the Pacific Islands. Alongside strengthening core technical competencies, the programme will also introduce emerging and forward-looking topics to expose engineers to network virtualisation, AI-driven operations, and future connectivity architectures—helping prepare the region’s technical community with strategic readiness for evolving technologies and operational demands.
