CEO Vacancy at Samoa Submarine Cable Company

Applications are invited for the following senior executive position:
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Samoa Submarine Cable Company (SSCC)
The CEO is the highest-ranking executive manager in Samoa Submarine Cable Company (SSCC) and is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of SSCC. The CEO will report to the Board of Directors, comprising six directors, and will oversee up to six staff members within the Admin & Finance Section and the Technical/Operations Section.
SSCC is a private company that owns and operates two submarine cable systems, “Tui-Samoa” (wholly-owned) and “Manatua” (partly-owned), with a mandate to deliver fast, reliable, and affordable internet services to stimulate ICT innovation and economic growth in Samoa
The office headquarters would be at the Goldstar Building in Apia.
Academic Qualifications:
- A postgraduate degree is preferable in Management, Finance, Communications, Engineering Technology, or relevant equivalent industry experience. Professional qualifications are advantageous.

Remuneration & Term:
- The position is on a fixed contract term of three (3) years.
- The remuneration package will be negotiated based on qualifications and experience.
