Ivan Fong retires from ATH – Amalgamated Telecom Holdings Fiji.

On 30 June this year, Ivan finished from ATH. Spanning a colorful career, he was appointed the CEO of the group in 2017 but traces back working for ATH from 2011. Prior to that he was Acting CEO of Telecom Fiji for two years, a position he ascended to from the ranks when he started as a graduate engineer in the 1990s.
He was also nominated while working for Telecom Fiji to serve on the PITA Executive Committee in 2004 and continued doing so to be later elected President of PITA in 2010, a position he held until 2016.
Ivan was an instrumental player in the ATH team for its regional venture and acquisition of other Telecom companies. The creation and recent successful launching of a new subsidiary mobile operator company into the Papua New Guinea market may have been the highlight of the group ventures.
We would like to thank Ivan for his services with PITA and the role in the Pacific. We also wish him well for his next endeavours
